More taiyaki - probably one of the best desserts that I've eaten here. This is how they are cooked. Kind of like a waffle, but then they put red bean paste inside, which is sweet.
Here is a better photo of the guy who sells what I think are roasted peanuts out of his truck.
This was my lunch the other day. Soba noodles with fried tofu, mushrooms, fish, green onions, and I can't remember the name of the green that's in there. That's a dried persimmon next to it.
This place looked like it was out of business and it might have been because of the translation error.

ReplyDeleteIn the soup there was that processed sort of fish cake that is commonly in noodle dishes. It's white and is a little spongey.
